Artwork Description
In conceptual art, the priority is in the concept itself. In the form of production, waste and found objects (ready-made) can be used. In this work, which was created with found objects, the concept of 'Resonance' is discussed. Resonance is the tendency in physics for a system to oscillate at greater amplitudes at some frequencies than others. Resonance was discovered in 1602 by Galileo Galilei as a result of his research on pendulums and musical instruments. Theoretically in resonance engineering; It is explained as "the amplitude goes to infinity". In music, resonance is used as a phenomenon that reveals the expressive properties of sound. Resonance, which occurs as a result of sound waves vibrating at a certain frequency, increases the emotional and aesthetic effect of music, plays an important role in the sound production of instruments and the propagation of sound; It helps to express the sound in a way that is full of depth, intensity and emotion. In his book 'The Law of Resonance', Pierre Franckh defined 'Thanks to the Law of Resonance, we understand that everything in the universe interacts with each other through vibrations', and in this direction, he discussed Resonance with the phenomena of energy-human-life-nature. In the work, it is aimed to reflect all these meanings and usage areas of the concept by blending them.
