The EP consists of four tracks: Mergen, Zamansızlık, Ağaç Yakadı, Hipnagogic. In this EP that we released with Simay Akça, we carried out an ethnic electronic work by feeding on Turkish Mythology and Turkish Shamanism. Mergen is the god of wisdom in the Turkish Pantheon. Since he represents the planet Mercury, he is identified with secret information and reporting. He is also referred to as the god of abundance identified with summer rains in shaman prayers called Applause. Mergen also means ‘archer’ as a word. Turks attribute the ability to plan to archers as a sign of wisdom. Mergen is the only track in the EP where we did not use vocals. In the Zamansızlık track, we focused on not feeling like we belong to a place or space. A state of congestion brought about by the distortions of our past and present. Simay sang the Ağaç Yakaladı track and focused on the massacre of nature. I sang the Hipnagogic track. The concept of hypnagogia includes hallucinations, lucid thoughts and dreams that occur among the mental phenomena during hypnagogia, which is the transition from wakefulness to sleep.
